Coursera is the leader among distance learning education platforms. It has over 60 million registered users, over 200 leading universities and companies, and more than  2,500 business clients.

MGIMO and Coursera signed a cooperation agreement in 2016. Since then, the MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency has been in charge of the collaboration with the Coursera distance education platform. 26 courses were placed on the Coursera distance education platform by MGIMO teachers, as well as one specialization.

MGIMO courses on Coursera cover the following areas:

Henley Business School (Great Britain)

Henley Business School (Great Britain) was founded in 1945 and was the first school to offer programmes in management. The School is a part of the University of Reading.

Henley Business School is a triple-accredited (AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB) school. Ranked every year among the top business schools, Henley Business School offers both Bachelor and Master’s programmes, MBA and DBA, Executive Education and PhD programmes.

Each year more than 7 000 students from 140 countries (including the School’s campuses in Hong-Kong, South Africa, Finland and Germany) attend courses at Henley Business School.

International University of Monaco

The International University of Monaco is an independent educational institution located in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. It was founded in 1986 to provide the South Shore with high quality education in the field of management, combining high European and American standards.

The International University of Monaco is licensed and recognised by the government of Monaco. Its MBA programmes have been accredited by the Association of MBA (Great Britain). The University is also a member of the following associations: AACSB, EFMD, ECIS, PRME, NAFSA.

The International University of Monaco offers higher education programmes, MBA and Master’s programmes in the field of Finance, Luxury Industry, International Business, Marketing and Sales.

University of Oxford (Great Britain)

University of Oxford (Great Britain) is one of the oldest English-speaking universities in the world, the first university in Great Britain. It is included in the group of “the oldest universities” in Great Britain and Ireland, and the Russell elite group of 20 universities of Great Britain.

The University of Oxford ranks high among other universities, according to prestigious university rankings. Based on the World University Ranking 2016 and 2017, this University held the top position in the world.

Today, the University of Oxford is a community of 21000 students from 140 countries. It comprises 38 colleges, the faculty consists of 80 members of the Royal Society and 100 members of the British Academy. Among its graduates are 27 Nobel laureates, former and acting leaders of 30 countries, and 23 prime-ministers.

University of Cambridge (Great Britain)

University of Cambridge (Great Britain) is one of the oldest and largest universities in the country (after the University of Oxford). It was founded in 1209. The University comprises 31 independent colleges (two of them offer master’s and doctor’s degree studies, 29 offer bachelor’s degree studies), over a hundred of schools and departments.

The University of Cambridge holds a leading position both for general indicators and specific criteria and avenues, according to authoritative international rankings such as QS or THE.

HEC Paris (France)

HEC Paris (France) is an international business school, founded in 1881 and is located in the suburb of the French capital, in Jouy-en-Josas commune. HEC Paris offers its flagship MA programmes in management, MBA and EMBA, specialized MA programmes, PhD programmes and programmes for top managers. 

HEC Paris is a CEMS founding member. It is a global alliance in management education. It comprises the leading business schools and the largest companies across the globe.

HEC Paris has been accredited by AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS, and is one of the most rated management schools in France.

GISMA Business School (Germany)

GISMA Business School (Germany) is one of the leading European business schools and has campuses in Berlin, Hannover, Hamburg, and London (since 2018).  The School was founded in 1999 upon the initiative of the government of Lower Saxony and private enterprises.

GISMA Business School offers management and business education programmes.

The MBA GISMA Business School Programme is included in the top 100 MBA programmes around the world, and holds 27th position in Europe.

GISMA business programmes have been accredited by AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB.

University of Geneva (Switzerland)

University of Geneva (Switzerland) is the oldest university in Switzerland.  It was founded in 1559. It is the third largest university in the country in terms of the number of students.

According to annual world rankings, the University ranks in the top 5%, and is a member of the League of European Research Universities. The University consists of 9 schools and interuniversity centers.

The University of Geneva offers a wide spectrum of disciplines and an interdisciplinary approach to conducting research. Among the graduates of the University of Geneva are 10 Nobel laureates.

Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE, USA)

Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE, USA) was established in 1947, and is now the largest international study exchange organization in the USA.  

CIEE and NGIMO set contacts and held their first negotiations at the end of 2013. They discussed short-term study programmes.

The first programme for the teaching staff “Russia-US Relations in Post-Soviet Space” was implemented in July 2014.

Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece)

Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece) was founded in 1920 in the Athens. It is the oldest university in Greece in economy and business, and consists of three schools and eight academic faculties.  

 Athens University of Economics and Business is the first Greek state university to be marked by the European Fund of Quality management EFQM. 

The University is a member of the European University Association (EUA). In 2013 the University welcomed the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), a modern global association of business schools and universities around the world.

ADA University (Azerbaijan)

ADA University (Azerbaijan) was established in 2014 on the basis of the Diplomatic Academy MFA Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan University of Information Technologies. In 2019 the University became a state university.

The University trains specialists at all levels of higher education and secondary specialized education, implements programmes of higher, secondary specialized and vocational education, conducts fundamental, theoretical and methodological, pedagogical and applied research.
