Advanced training for MGIMO teaching staff

One of the primary tasks of the School of Business and International Proficiency is improving the professional skills of the university teaching staff, which is what is required to be an effective educational institution. Advanced training of pedagogical and administrative personnel in various forms is part of the corporate personnel policy and is considered as the most important criterion in assessing the activities of the University. This is achieved by combining self-education, training in specially created programmes and courses at the University and other universities, in profession-oriented organizations and companies in Russia and abroad, participation in seminars. The University teaching staff takes training as and when necessary but at least once every five years. The School of Business and International Proficiency arranges special courses and advanced training programmes, conducts inter-conference seminars and conferences, coordinates Russian and foreign internships aimed at improving the qualification. Thus, the School of Business fulfills an important task of the University which is development of human resources, including issues of the generational change and sharing unique teaching experience in order to form a stable and highly professional team of teachers and employees.

Advanced training of university teachers

MGIMO also provides university teachers with advanced training in foreign languages (English language). The main point of emphasis is «the professional language»: economic, legal, international political, business issues. All classes are led by professors and teachers of MGIMO.

Duration of courses: courses are held for 5 days (40 academic hours) in January and June).

Those who successfully complete the training receive an Advanced Training certificate.

Cost of the training: 32 500 rubles.
