Programme Objective: forming a set of sustainable theoretical and practical knowledge of oral translation and simultaneous interpretation in particular; structuring and developing practical skills to allow students to take the best translation decisions while interpreting at a professional level amid fierce competition in the market of translation services.

The programme includes the following disciplines:

  • Simultaneous interpretation. Practical course.
  • Russian language stylistics
  • Speech engineering for simultaneous interpreters

The Programmes is for those, having a university degree, with the knowledge of the English language not lower than Upper Intermediate (B 2 and higher).

Length of study: 9 months, from October 2021 till June 2022.

Start of classes: 4 October 2021

Schedule: 3 times a week (2 weekdays from 7 p.m. till 9-50 p.m. (19:00 till 21:50), and Saturday (from 10 a.m. till 5-20 p.m. (10:00 till 17:20))

Tuition fee: 350,000 Roubles

Academic advisor: Olga Anatolievna Egorova, PhD, Senior Lecturer at the English Language Department №1

Upon completion of the Programme, students get a vocational retraining diploma providing them with the right to work in the sphere of linguistics (simultaneous interpretation).
