The Strategic Marketing and Management specialization combines traditional marketing disciplines and up-to-date management disciplines, including leadership and talent management, risk management, financial management and personnel management. Within this Specialization, strategic management represents the upper level of a company’s management, and is designed to provide for a company’s development avenues and its commercial sustainability.

The programme is aimed at marketing directors, commercial directors, brand managers, heads of communication services of both government and non-government organizations, as well as small and medium-sized business entrepreneurs focused on the strategic development of their business.
The Programme is designed for specialists wishing to be retrained for different occupations or change the profile of their activities, and is a unique combination of the methodology and classical approach to MBA education at MGIMO, practical experience, creative approach and entrepreneurship tools used at the Universal University.
Upon completion of the MBA programme, students will be awarded with two certificates of professional retraining which affirm the qualification Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Strategic Marketing at MGIMO and the Universal University.
The goal of the programme is to update and complement the knowledge and skills of marketing managers in terms of the development and implementation of the company's strategy in the modern market. The programme offers an interdisciplinary approach to the study of modern principles of competition, product value creation, and marketing tools.
This Strategic Marketing and Management Programme combines classic marketing disciplines with the most relevant management disciplines, including leadership and talent management, risk management, financial management and human resources management. As part of the MBA programme, strategic marketing acts as the top level of the company's management, designed to ensure the vectors of the company's development and its commercial stability.
A significant part of the programme is dedicated to the modern technologies in marketing, including digital technologies, management of intangible assets in a post-turbulent economy, as well as new content marketing tools and communication strategies.
Training is based on a combination of fundamental knowledge and applied skills with business games, solving business cases from real life customers, field trips to various businesses both in Russia and abroad.
Classes will be held in blended format (online and offline).

Specialization module leader — Daria Yadernaya, CEO of the international consulting company in the fashion industry Y Consulting, member of the Presidium of the Russian Chamber of Fashion. Since 2010, she has been managing the development of the Anton Heunis brand in Russia and the CIS. From 2013 to 2016, she was involved in the regional development of the Thierry Lasry brand. In 2014 and 2015, she led the business programme of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia.

Students who successfully complete the MBA Programme will receive a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in “Strategic Marketing and Management".
Programme cost — 1,400,000 RUB for the entire period of study. Payment is made by semester.
Programme format — weekend-format (20 months) — once per month (Thursday through Sunday 9:30 – 20:00)
