In March, MGIMO was honored to receive V. Vinitsky-Seroussi, Professor of Sociology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Lecturer at the Center for Cultural Sociology at Yale University. She delivered an open lecture to the students on country studies course entitled «The State of Israel: History and Modernity».

In her lecture Prof. Vinitsky-Seroussi focused on religion, creation of historical memory, public holidays, multi-ethnicity and religious diversity in modern Israel.
