18–21 May, the annual site visit module titled «Production Management» was conducted for EMBA and MBA students in Yekaterinburg and Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The module was hosted by UMMC-Holding OJSC and The Ural Federal University.
18–21 May, the annual site visit module titled «Production Management» was conducted for EMBA and MBA students in Yekaterinburg and Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The module was hosted by UMMC-Holding OJSC and The Ural Federal University.
The Module’s plan provides the students with a site visit of «Sredneural Copper-smelting plant» OJSC, «Uralelectromed’» Public Company, The Museum of Military Equipment and also educational modules at the Technical University of UMMC-Holding and The Ural Federal University.
The students had an opportunity to listen to lectures delivered by the UMMC-Holding OJSC Deputy General Director E.V.Bragin, a senior engineer of «Uralelectromed’» Public Company A.A.Korolev, Head of the Production System Development Department of «Uralelectromed’» Public Company M.L.Osipova.
The students also received a chance to attend an educational module at the Factory of lean manufacturing of The Ural Federal University. The Module’s agenda included not only the introduction to the operating of this exemplary factory, but also perfecting the skills of running this lean manufacturing system.
Part of the visit’s plan was a conference on the subject of cooperation between MGIMO and UMMC-Holding OJSC. Among the conference participants were the UMMC-Holding HR Director V.N.Olyunin, Deputy Financial Director O.V.Kovalenko, Head of Training Department I.A.Osipova and Director of the UMMC-Holding Technical University E.V.Karaman. MGIMO was presented in the conference by the Director of the School of Business and International Proficiency A.M.Mirzoeva, EMBA Program Academic Adviser A.V.Shashkova, a member of the UMMC-Holding «International Transport and Logistics» Department A.B.Kostin.
It has marked the fourth consecutive annual site visit module hosted by UMMC-Holding conducted as a part of cooperation between the University and the Holding through the School of Business and International Proficiency.
