On 23 January the Moscow Representative Office of Krasnoyarskyi Krai hosted a meeting between the academic advisor of the “Sports Diplomacy” MA Programme E.A.Ponomaryova and the representative of the Executive Board of the 2019 Global Winter Universiade in Krasnoyark V.I.Napalkova.

The parties discussed preparation for the Global Winter Universiade including a competence-based approach to creating a pool of specialists and the role of MGIMO sport and education community in supporting initiatives of the Universiade Organizing Committee.

Agreements were reached concerning the internship for "Sports Diplomacy" MA students at the Representative Office of the Executive Board of the Moscow Universiade and their participation in the voluntary movement during the 2019 Universiade. The most active and bright students will be able to work with foreign official delegations and VIP guests.

One year is away before the start of the Krasnoyark Universiade. It is going to be the most interesting, creative and the busiest time period.
