A group of students from US leading universities visited MGIMO as part of the cooperation agreement between the MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency and CIEE, September 1 till December 20.

During their stay the students attended a series of lectures on international relations, as well as the basic course on US-Russian relations by Yu. A. Nikitina, Associate Professor at the World Political Processes Department.

Apart from the educational element of the programme, it also included a number of cultural events. The students visited MFA Russia, museums, theatres, and did other sights of Moscow and Saint Petersburg. They were able to learn more about the customs of our country and brush up their Russian language skills.

December 20th saw the ceremony of awarding certificates to those students who successfully completed the programme. They were taken on a tour around MGIMO History Museum. E. Glazov, Vice-Director of the School of Business and International Proficiency, gave a welcoming speech.
