January 18th, MGIMO was visited by Tim Mescon, executive vice president and chief officer for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, AACSB.
January 18th, MGIMO was visited by Tim Mescon, executive vice president and chief officer for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, AACSB.
Professor Mescon met Vice Rector of MGIMO A.V.Malgin and Director of the School of Business and International Proficiency A.M.Mirzoeva. The parties discussed cooperation between MGIMO and the Association within certain projects, accreditation requirements for business schools. The parties also exchanged views on global trends of developing business education.
Professor Mescon also had a meeting with the MGIMO School of Business faculty, academic advisors of MBA and Executive MBA programmes.
The AACSB representative delivered a master-class to the MGIMO faculty entitled «Innovation Technology and the Future of Business Education». In his speech, Tim Mescon covered the pressing issues of developing world-class business schools, technologies of modernizing business schools in the future, and analyzed the current changes in the global system of business education.
AACSB was founded in the USA in 1916, and is one of the most high profile associations in the world. AACSB unites business schools and innovative universities which implement business and management programmes.
AACSB has been accrediting leading business schools since 1919. Now the Association brings together over 1 600 organization members in over a hundred countries with headquarters in North America, Asia Pacific Region and Europe.
