April 17 saw the beginning of the Moscow module for the second year students of the dual degree МВА «Finance» programme of MGIMO and ADA University (Azerbaijan).

The practical part of the module opened with a visit to Sberbank. L.V. Siyanova, project manager of the Problem Assets Department, introduced the MBA students to the infrastructure of the head office. The visit continued with a lecture by Mr. Behnam Gurban-zadeh, advisor to Sberbank, director of PayZakat, who introduced the participants to Islamic finance using case studies.

The teaching staff of the programme is presented by some of the leading MGIMO professors, experts, managing partners, executive directors of such companies as Gazprombank, PayZakat, Rödl & Partner, Alfa Group, NICA Multi Family Office.

The module programme includes lectures, master classes and visits to leading companies and banking structures of Russia, including the Bank of Russia, Yandex, MTS Bank.

The programme attendees are specialists in the field of financial-investment, oil, foreign economic and state sectors of Azerbaijan.

The МВА «Finance» dual degree programme has been implemented since 2019.
