On may 19 an online-lecture was given by Wolfgang Mayer, member of the Management Board of Backaldrin International the Kornspitz Company GmbH, Head of Corporate communication and marketing.

Mr. Mayer is COO of the Russian subsidiary “Backaldrin RUS” and Honorary Consul for the Russian Federation in Upper Austria.

W.Mayer talked about the activities of the Austrian company, which is one of the world leaders in the production of ingredients for the baking and confectionery industry.

The lecture participants got acquainted with the activities of the largest international company, which is represented in more than 100 countries, including China, learned about the challenges faced by the company during the COVID-19 pandemic, and about the anti-crisis measures taken.

The event was organized with the support of the Russian-Austrian public forum Sochi Dialogue together with the MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency.
