A. Kadish is Professor in the Department of History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Director of the Institute for the Study of the Land of Israel and its Yad Izhak Ben-Zvi Branch in Jerusalem, Senior Research Fellow at the Israel Defence Forces Center for the Study of Tactics and Force Deployment.
Day four of the educational programme began with a lecture by Prof. Kadish «Basics for Israel’s Strategic Thinking». He covered issues of creating and developing Israel’s strategic thinking in terms of history and modernity. Prof. Kadish paid special attention to the impact of certain ideological and geostrategic limitations and capabilities on developing an approach towards providing security and defence for the Zionist leadership to become leaders of the Jewish State after gaining independence.
