On January 23, second-year students studying in the joint MGIMO-BHSD Fashion Management MBA programme visited Ivanovo. They visited a number of factories to learn about the production technologies and management of the sewing shop, including “Valenti”, one of the most modern sewing enterprises in Russia which specializes in suits for men (the most difficult category for manufacturing).

Following the excursion to the production unit and meeting with the heads of the key units, the students attended a lecture at the Research Engineering Centre in Ivanovo and visited a number of departments of Ivanovo State Polytechnic University. The students got to know the cutting-edge technological solutions to manage production and the advanced online-shopping model with an online fitting room and 3-D dummy for lingerie and underwear and swimming suits.
