Students of the MGIMO-MIPT joint programme «Digital Economy» continue to study commercial approaches to using digital technologies by visiting leading companies. They had an interesting visit to the Yandex headquarters, November 8.

This office of Yandex is the largest in size and number of employees. It occupies a whole block between L. Tolstoy Street and T. Frunze Street, and is a modern high-tech building with a cosy backyard.

The majority of Yandex products and technologies are developed here. The office occupies 40 000 sq. m. (let alone cafeteria, landing zone, and bank of lifts). Over 4 000 people work for the Yandex office in L. Tolstoy Street.

The visit was arranged by Yandex and MIPT, which is responsible for specialization courses in the MBA programme. Such events expand students’ horizon, help them learn about new trends and latest products, meet specialists and experts, and study modern approaches to digitalizing economy and business.
