Educational Exchange for US Students

A group of students from leading American universities came to MGIMO in February as part of cooperation between the School of Business and International Proficiency and CIEE — Council on International Educational Exchange.

A group of students from leading American universities came to MGIMO in February as part of cooperation between the School of Business and International Proficiency and CIEE — Council on International Educational Exchange.

Those universities are the University of Pennsylvania, George Washington University, Seton Hall University, Baldwin Wallace University, Cornell University, etc.

The visitors had an educational tour to the Museum of MGIMO History on February 6th.

The American students have enrolled in the "Business and International Relations" programme for the spring semester to receive certificates upon finishing their studies.

The CIEE, the Council on International Educational Exchange, was founded in 1947 and is now one of the biggest American organizations to arrange educational exchanges across the world.

The first contact and negociations on organizing short-term educational programmes with MGIMO took place at the end of 2013.

The first programme for lecturers "Relations between Russia and the USA in the post-Soviet space" was held in July, 2014.

In the autumn and spring of 2014/2015MGIMO hosted the first group of American students to take the "Business and International Relations" programme.
