MGIMO presents a new course in English based on the Coursera platform - “Bases of the law of obligations (The Russian Federation)” developed by A.V.Shashkova, Professor of the Constitutional Law Department.

This course was designed to familiarize students with the bases of the law of obligations. The students will study the analysis and assessment of situations in terms of law, identify the basic elements of the Russian contract system, learn about the forms of obligations and the ability of the main legal subjects to take on and fulfill legal obligations.

The Course is meant for students of general education institutions, Russian and foreign lawyers, heads of law firms, financial directors, chief accountants, auditors practising the English language, and for a broader audience interested in the law of obligations.
