September 20th, a group of American students from Babson College visited MGIMO University within the cooperation agreement between the School of Business and International Proficiency and the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE).
September 20th, a group of American students from Babson College visited MGIMO University within the cooperation agreement between the School of Business and International Proficiency and the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE).
The meeting opened with a welcome address delivered by E.Glazov, Vice Director of the School of Business, who spoke about the University and advantages of MGIMO programmes and mentioned renowned alumni.
A.Tsibulina, Associate Professor of the Department for Integration Studies, provided specific examples and spoke about peculiarities of business activity and economic situation in Russia, developmental trends in various industries, which immediately sparked questions from the audience.
V.Tkachev, Supervisor of the "Financial Director" MBA programme and Associate Professor of the Department of International Finance, presented a review of the current state of Russian economy, and its financial sphere in particular, and highlighted the monetary policy and the structure of investments.
The event concluded with an animated discussion: students asked a wide range of questions from enrollment in MGIMO to the state of the Russian labour market, agriculture and the time of lifting sanctions against Russia.
The students from Babson College visited the Museum of History of MGIMO and other points of interest of the University.
