On 14 October, the students of the joint MGIMO – MIPT Digital Economy MBA Programne visited Sberbank Agile Home where they studied cutting-edge technologies in developing innovative services, learnt about the peculiarities of agile transformation and Sberbank information systems. The students also learnt about the impact of innovative technologies on the activity of one of the leading international financial institutions.

Executive Director Arsen Dumikyan shared his experience in developing products using the Agile system and presented the ''Bank of Business Partners'' project to the guests. This project is an online platform for exporters and importers and helps search for partners across the globe. A. Dumikyan told the MBA students how the idea of Bankofpartners.com came into being, how long it took to develop and launch it. He also spoke about the results achieved in 2 years and why Sberbank needs this service.

The visit to Agile Home was sponsored by Sberbank and MIPT which is responsible for the specialization courses. Visiting the most successful digital companies is an important component in the learning process which allows students to see the work of real companies from inside and study the modern approaches to digitalizing economy and business.
