On September 19-30, MGIMO hosted the Moscow studying module for students of the МВА Finance programme implemented by the MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency in cooperation with ADA University (Azerbaijan).
The two-week programme includes courses on corporate finance, financial risk management, digital finance and FinTech. Along with the leading experts-practitioners, the students of the second intake of the dual degree programme MGIMO – ADA University МВА Finance programme examine current business cases and key trends in the financial sector. Training is conducted in English.
This busy agenda of the Moscow module also includes a practical part — visits to major Russian financial and investment organizations. As part of the programme, I.B.Turuev, First Vice President, head of the Internal Audit Department of Gazprombank, professor of the Department of International Finance at MGIMO, held a seminar-meeting at Gazprombank. MBA students learned about managing relationships with banking customers, introducing artificial intelligence and machine learning in their work and modern trends in banking information technologies. In addition, the seminar participants discussed modern operational risks and the impact of the energy crisis on the global energy transfer.
The second Moscow MBA Finance module will be held in November and will include meetings with heads of finance departments at Russian Railways, the Central Bank of Russia, the Moscow Exchange, VTB and other companies.
