A group of students from the leading Universities of the United States arrived in May in the context of cooperation between the School of Business and International Proficiency Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) at MGIMO.
A group of students from the leading Universities of the United States arrived in May in the context of cooperation between the School of Business and International Proficiency Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) at MGIMO.
During four weeks American students will undergo learning according to the Business and International Relations Program, by the end of which they will receive certificates. During the study course they will visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Besides the educational part the students will have a rich cultural component. They will attend museums, theaters and other sights in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, they will familiarize themselves with Russia’s traditions and enrich their Russian language skills.
The CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange) was founded in 1947 and is currently one of the largest American organizations performing educational exchanges in various regions of the world.
It first came into contact and negotiations with MGIMO in the end of 2013 on the topic of short-term educational programs.
The first programme for professors called Relations between Russia and the United States on the FSU ran in 2014.
In the autumn and spring semesters of 2014/15 MGIMO welcomed the first students from American universities to take the Business and International Relations programme.
