On June 14 schoolchildren from the United States (a Programme by the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), USA) and students of MGIMO’s International Summer School visited the University’s main building.

The children participated in awareness quest in English in the MGIMO History Museum and attended a lecture by associate professor of applied calculus and international problems IA. Istomin on the topic of Analyses of Russian-American Relations.

The quest was specifically set up for school children by an English professor from Department #1 D. R. Kameletdinova and presented as a gift to the employees of the Department educational work with children for future generations of young guests from different countries. The MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency also assisted in the kids visiting MGIMO.

In addition to this the guests participated in the debates on global contemporary problems led by our 3-rd year student of the School of Governance and Politics Dmitri Nilov, who familiarized the guests with the Debate Club’s work and conducted a training debate with detailed instructions. Working as a team helped the children to bond together and set the ground for true friendship between the Lyceum students and the American children.
