Graduates of the «Management of International Communications in Sport» Program receive their degree certificates

April 28, the MGIMO University held an official ceremony of granting degree certificates to the graduates of the fifth enrollment of the «Management of International Communications in Sport» vocational retraining program. The program is implemented jointly with the Russian Olympians Foundation.

In this fifth in succession enrollment, there were 22 individuals who successfully finished their education. They represent Russian national sports federations, as well as LLC «KHL».

Executive Director of the Russian Olympians Foundation A.A.Katushev addressed the students with a congratulatory speech. He was also joined by the Program’s Academic Supervisor E.A.Ponomareva, Associate Professor of the 1st English language Department I.G.Ignatieva and the Program coordinator Y.V.Ostashova. They addressed the graduates with a parting speech and congratulated them on a job well done. A.A.Katushev also noted that the knowledge received at MGIMO would help the future «sports diplomats» in promoting the interests of our country in today’s complicated international situation.

The Program is designed for members of Russian sports federations. It includes such areas of training as Basics of Sports Diplomacy, Ethics and Social Responsibility in Sport, Sports Law and Sports Arbitration, Anti-doping Policy, Business Correspondence, Professional English for Sports Managers and other. Among the lecturers are some of the leading staff members of MGIMO, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, practitioners with a worldwide reputation.
